3 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE Smackdown (Nov 22)
Ups...
3. Tag Team Turmoil
This week's episode of Smackdown was built around the return of Tag Team Turmoil, a gauntlet match featuring all of the tandems on the show, with the winners getting title shot at Rhyno and Heath Slater at TLC. The Ascension and The Hype Bros started things off, with The Hype Bros picking up a win after a few minutes of action.
Breezango was up next, and surprisingly, they managed to beat The Hype Bros. Next out were American Alpha, though, and they ran through Breezango with little difficulty. The Vaudevillains came to the ring and were immediately beaten by AA, leading to the arrival of The Usos. The two teams went at it for several minutes, providing some great action that was enough to put this in the "Ups" column. Eventually, AA hit the Grand Amplitude for the pin.
This would have been a great opportunity for The Revival to debut on Smackdown, but it wasn't to be - instead, WWE went the confusing route. The Wyatt Family appeared on the screen, with Bray Wyatt explaining that he and Randy Orton would challenge American Alpha... next week. The winning team would get the title shot at the PPV. This was a disappointing ending, but the match was still good.
