3 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Jan 24)
2. Squashed
After his assault on Jerry Lawler last week, Dolph Ziggler is now the number one no-good bully on Smackdown. It just all seems a little abrupt, given that a couple of months ago he was in the best feud of his career and that he then turned on Kalisto, of all people.
Anyway, Dolph was in action against Kalisto on Smackdown, and the match was about a minute long. When Kalisto tried to hit a tornillo off the ropes, Dolph hit a Superkick for the pinfall.
Following the match, Dolph grabbed a chair and had destruction on his mind, but JBL got out of his seat to do... something, I guess. Apollo Crews ran out during the distraction and attacked Dolph, eventually sending him running.
I really hope that this somehow works out in Apollo Crews's favor, but it seems more likely that this is just another half-hearted push for Dolph that'll end in - what, another Intercontinental Title reign?
