3 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's Impact Wrestling (Aug 23)
Returns, debuts, and children being run over.

2018 has been a relatively good year for all involved at Impact Wrestling thus far. Under the guidance of Scott D'Amore and Don Callis, the company has seen a rebirth of sorts with a mass of new talent bursting on to the scene. Thanks to the help of these two men, the weekly product has slowly become less of a hassle to sit through.
This week's instalment featured another chapter written in the saga of Pentagon Jr. and Sami Callihan as they waged war in a Mexican Death Match. After seeing what the pair were able to do to each other in a weapons-based environment at Slammiversary, this match more than lived up to the hype.
Allie continued to be the silly goose of the knockouts division, challenging Su Yung for the Knockouts Championship next week but wanting Tessa Blanchard to be in the match too. Doesn't Allie realise that only gives her a 33.3% chance of regaining the gold?
Last night's episode also saw a rather questionable segment where Richie, a child who was seemingly part of the LAX, was run over by the OGz. Obviously the actual collision itself was never shown, but this is still quite a controversial angle to air on TV.
With that said, let's see what was decent about the show overall as well as what was slightly below the mark. Let's get to it...
