3 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec 21)

2. Garza Gets Down To Business

After weeks of weird promos directed to the camera, Angel Garza gave yet another promo that ended with him handing out a rose, but this one came in a pre-match interview.

Garza finally got in action, battling Drew Gulak in a fast-paced glorified squash, ending with Angel nailing the Wing Clipper for the win. Those who have seen him in NXT and earlier on Raw know what he’s capable of in the ring, so it was good to see him have a fairly strong win in his first Raw singles bout in two months.

Now, here’s hoping that WWE actually utilizes Garza, who has been largely wasted in 2020 after spending months as part of one of the most listless, directionless and useless stables in recent company history.
