30 Best Performers In WrestleMania History

25. Andre The Giant (2-3-1)

Similarly, another WWF/E giant also is more well-known for his role at WrestleMania than his record.

Andre the Giant competed in the very first Mania (a $15,000 bodyslam challenge against Big John Studd) and also won a battle royal at WrestleMania II. That would be his last win at Mania, but Andre’s biggest role was yet to come.

At WrestleMania III, Andre battled Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship in what was (and still is) the biggest match in Mania (and likely wrestling) history. Although he lost, Andre’s role in that match vaults him up the list of performers. He closed out his Mania career with matches that slid down the card, though he entered WrestleMania VI as one-half of the WWF Tag Team Champions.
