30 Great WWE Superstars And Their Strange Rookie Finishers

22. Scott Hall

Scott Hall€™s crucifix powerbomb was one of the most feared moves of the 1990€™s, whether he was calling it the Outsider€™s Edge, Razor€™s Edge, or even the Diamond Death Drop. It became such an integral part of his moveset that he developed a signature counter to his own move, where he'd try it too close to the ropes and get backdropped to the floor. The Edge was as big a part of Hall€™s act as the toothpick and the greasy hair, but there was a time that Scott Hall existed without any of that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UB1cnrli9gs In the AWA, €œBig€ Scott Hall was a Hulk Hogan pastiche with a fringed leather vest and a Tom Selleck perm. You'd think they'd go all out and have him use the Big Leg, but no: he finished opponents with the Hall Buster, a regular-ass bulldog takedown. It was a different time, when bulldogs were viable finishing moves, and you could unironically promote a top face who looked like the Brawny paper towel man.
