A riveting angle born from the embers of a phenomenal one that fell apart, the Bret/Owen Hart scuffle at the climax of their victory over Shawn Michaels and The Knights in 1993 ultimately led to a feud that brought them together on every pay-per-view of 1994.

In some tremendous sleight of hand, fans were fascinated by the heat between them after a minor miscommunication resulted in Owen's elimination. It subdued any complaints over the sudden abandonment of the Jerry Lawler storyline the match was intended to pay off.
