John Cena's late-2003 babyface switch was a beat debated amongst company insiders - several fought for a tweener role a la Stone Cold Steve Austin in 1996, before a Vince McMahon-led Hulk Hogan-style story won the day. This rare glimpse at the former was thus immensely satisfying.

Cena burst through the ranks alongside partners Kurt Angle and fellow survivor Chris Benoit. His FU on The Big Show was a visual even greater than Brock Lesnar's finisher the prior year. Things even bigger than the man on his shoulder were destined for his future from that point on.
