There are smart times and places to make your return from injury, and Edge's 'Ultimate Opportunist' moniker was again earned when he took the place of a suspiciously absent Jeff Hardy in 2008.

Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov had gone nearly 13 minutes deep into one of the worst Survivor Series WWE Championship matches of all time when Edge snuck in and claimed the title from underneath the knackered pair of them. The crowd only needed something - anything - to pop over; Edge was an trademark McMahon over-delivery.
