The first ever tag team elimination match on the first ever Survivor Series pay-per-view serves two purposes perfectly, and does so whilst bathing the screen colourful booking of colourful characters.

At a breathless 47 minutes, the match takes no breaks and puts over the brand new elimination concept magnificently. In keeping with the event's primary modus operandi, it sticks two fingers up at the opposition in advertising the sheer depth and diversity of the talent under the WWE banner. There are 20 stars out there, and all in one match - it took 22 to fill the entire NWA StarrCade card.
