30 Most Inconsequential WWE Titleholders Of All Time
16. Albert - Intercontinental Champion - 27 Days (2001)
With the WWF vs. Alliance angle going hot and heavy, there should have been a lot of interesting choices for Intercontinental Champion. Albert, who at that point was in the X Factor stable with X-Pac and Justin Credible, shouldnt have been one of those options. Albert was notable for being the Intercontinental Champion going into the InVasion Pay Per View, but he didnt defend the title or was even involved in a champion vs. champion match with the United States Champion (who was Booker T, also the WCW Champion). Instead, he was in a six man tag with other members of the undercard, Big Show and Billy Gunn. The night after InVasion, Albert dropped the title to a more interesting member of the Alliance, Lance Storm.
