30 Most Inconsequential WWE Titleholders Of All Time

16. Albert - Intercontinental Champion - 27 Days (2001)

With the WWF vs. Alliance angle going hot and heavy, there should have been a lot of interesting choices for Intercontinental Champion. Albert, who at that point was in the X Factor stable with X-Pac and Justin Credible, shouldn€™t have been one of those options. Albert was notable for being the Intercontinental Champion going into the InVasion Pay Per View, but he didn€™t defend the title or was even involved in a champion vs. champion match with the United States Champion (who was Booker T, also the WCW Champion). Instead, he was in a six man tag with other members of the undercard, Big Show and Billy Gunn. The night after InVasion, Albert dropped the title to a more interesting member of the Alliance, Lance Storm.
