5. Val Venis - European Champion - 58 Days (1999/2000)

Val Venis was more known for his Intercontinental Championship runs in WWE, but for more than eight weeks in late 1999/early 2000, he was the European Champion. Val won the belt in a triple threat match with champion The British Bulldog and D'Lo Brown, and was basically a placeholder champion until he was beaten by Kurt Angle on an episode of Smackdown in February 2000.
