30 Most Inconsequential WWE Titleholders Of All Time

3. Ryback - Intercontinental Champion - 112 Days (2015)

Daniel Bryan had big plans for the Intercontinental Championship after he won the belt at Wrestlemania 31. He had mentioned on Table for 3 that he had planned to make the title Smackdown-exclusive because John Cena was doing his U.S. Open challenge on Raw. Unfortunately, Bryan suffered a concussion and was stripped of the belt. The vacant title was put on the line in the Elimination Chamber, which Ryback won. Even through Ryback held the belt for more than 100 days, a small portion of that time Ryback was on the shelf with a staph infection and there was talk that he might be stripped of the title. The only real feuds Ryback had was against the Miz and the Big Show, and against Kevin Owens, who made fun of Ryback for following The Secret book. Owens took the belt from Ryback at Night of Champions, ending a long but ultimately unimpressive reign.
