30 Most INSANE Things Wrestlers Have EVER Said On Live TV

29. Vince McMahon Bullies Jim Ross

According to Paul Heyman, Vince McMahon had an infamous disdain for sneezing, believing it to be a sign of weakness simply because he couldn't control it. A similar level of unhinged thinking was on full display in 2005 when McMahon decided that a man's real-life health struggles were the perfect subject for his brand of below-the-belt comedy.

Rather than showing even a shred of human decency, the Chairman dedicated over seven figuratively agonising minutes of valuable television time to mocking Jim Ross’ legitimately agonising colon surgery. What followed was one of WWE’s most tasteless and embarrassing segments. McMahon, playing doctor, literally pulled objects out of a fake JR’s backside in a crude, juvenile sketch overloaded with fart noises, sex jokes, and slapstick nonsense. It was self-plagiarised too - the company had ran a near-identical (and identically rubbish) version of the skit with Hurricane and Triple H years earlier.

Even with the most generous interpretation as a rib between longstanding colleagues, it was never remotely funny. Not when it started, not when it dragged on, and definitely not when the punchline turned out to be Ross’ own severed head
