The 1994 Rumble came down to Lex Luger and Bret Hart slugging it out, ending with the pair each hurling the other over the top rope and seemingly landing on the floor at the exact same time. Cue several minutes of confusion as both men are declared the victors by different referees, before various conveniently obscured angles give inconclusive evidence of the real winner, and WWF President Jack Tunney ultimately determines that both men won. This led to the rather convoluted title picture going into WrestleMania X, where both Bret and Lex would have title shots against Yokozuna, with Hart managing to capture the WWF Title in the main event. Still, this sort of angle couldn't even really be attempted today, because hundreds if not thousands of smartphones would likely discern whose feet actually hit the floor first.
