30 Most WTF Moments In WWE Royal Rumble History

13. Shawn Michaels' Sneaky Win (1995)

Just a year after the controversial Hart-Luger finish, we got another shock ending as The British Bulldog clotheslined Shawn Michaels out of the ring but, unbeknownst to Bulldog, HBK managed to hold onto the ropes, so that only one of his feet touched the ring mat at any one time. As Bulldog celebrated, Michaels then ran back into the ring and knocked him off the top turnbuckle, eliminating him and winning the Rumble. Though the Rumble match itself was contentious because it featured 60-second intervals (and as such ran less than 40 minutes in length), the ending was nothing short of legendary. Though it looks so obvious in retrospect, at the time it was a huge surprise.
