Pedro Morales, pro wrestling legend, was the 5th longest reigning WWE champion in history, the longest combined holder of the Intercontinental title, the first ever WWF Triple Crown champion, and the first Latino WWF champion.

He's also the only living person ever to fail to turn up for his induction into the WWF/E Hall Of Fame: back in 1995, fellow Latino wrestler Savio Vega inducted him in his absence, accepting on his behalf and on behalf of the community.

There's little indication of any heat involved between the parties, but Morales was doing some Spanish language commentary for WCW around the mid-nineties.

The Hall Of Fame wasn't presented as such a big deal back in those days, and it may have been that he considered that he had a conflict of interest and didn't think it was worth pushing it with WCW bosses.

Regardless, he's still listed as a member of the WWE Hall Of Fame. Presumably they mailed him his ring.
