In fact, scrap that; Rocky went from unwanted bit part man in late-97 to WWF Champ by the same time one year later.

What's more, fans had finally accepted him when he turned heel again at Survivor Series '98 and joined The Corporation. This spell was dizzying to watch through in quick succession without TV breaks. Bloody incredible rise up through the ranks though.
