He was still a hot name over there and even had some commercial opportunities, like this hilariously WTF Japanese television advert. Hogan's upbeat singing of the days of the week appears to be for a 'Bigflow' fan ventilator. There's also a baby in the advert, for some insanely random reason. But the biggest cheese in this has to be the way Hogan reclines topless on his bed. Maybe this worked for the Japanese audience, but in the west this is just plain bizarre.
