Hogan was back in the WWF in 1993, but was none too happy at Vince McMahon's idea for him to put over Yokozuna in a WWF Title match. So at King Of The Ring 1993, in a WWF Title match that took place in the midcard, Hogan lost to Yokozuna after a photographer launched a fireball in his eyes. It was Hogan's idea to do the fireball spot, as he simply wouldn't lose to Yokozuna clean. It summed Hogan up as a main eventer, he was always looking to protect his own status. Needles to say, it ended up looking stupid and did nothing for Hogan's credibility. He was then gone from the WWF a short while later, as both he and Vince had realised that Hulkamania had peaked.
