8. Samoa Joe NXT Debut At May Takeover Event
Samoa Joe is probably signing with WWE towards the end of April. That's the strong rumor anyway. It seems to be a legit thing because he isn't taking any other bookings aside from what he currently has in early April. We don't know for sure that May will have a Takeover event, but that's the expectation. Much like Kevin Owens making his debut at the December Takeover event, hyping up Joe's WWE debut at a special event like that will definitely create a buzz among the WWE Universe. Joe just turned 36 years old. He's been wrestling for 15 years. He's not going to need that much training in NXT, so when he gets there they need to make him look like a huge star right away (like they have done with Owens) and the fans are going to love it because they have been waiting so long to see him in WWE. Whether he's a face or heel and no matter what his name is, Joe can be successful in WWE. It's only a matter of time until that happens.
