WWE has dropped the ball with Smackdown since it moved back to Thursday nights in January. Instead of making it feel like more of a "must see" show, it's basically the same thing that it used to be on Fridays. As a result of their inability to make people care about Smackdown, ratings are about the same as they were on the better TV night. Why? Because fans know that nothing major ever happens on Smackdown. There's no reason to tune in because they know that if something big does happen they'll just show it on Raw anyway. A way to make people care is put title matches on Smackdown. Do some big angles on that show instead of just Raw. Promote it more during Raw. Use social media to plug it more than they currently do. WWE should promote Smackdown a lot more than they do. In the end, they're the ones that benefit from more viewers. By not doing more for the "blue brand" they're just hurting their own bottom dollar.
