For the second year running, Steve Austin found himself knocked silly for real. Maybe he wasn't very popular in the dressing room at the time.

Austin and The Undertaker had a handful of matches together, but by the 'Rattlesnake's' own admission, things never quite clicked in the ring between the pair. At least he had a good excuse for their 'Highway to Hell' clash at SummerSlam '98.

With the bout shaping up well, things suddenly went awry when the Texan was knocked out stone cold after 'Taker nutted him in the chin. For the remainder of the contest, Austin had no idea where he was - and this was before his usual celebratory six-pack. Earl Hebner had to give him a quick reminder - "God damn it, boy! You're in the Garden!" - before he was forced to groggily stumble through the remainder of his SummerSlam match for a second year running.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
