19. SummerSlam '99 - The Rock Vs. Billy Gunn

Two years after Steve Austin and Owen Hart's bottom-smooching action had to be nixed, WWE tried again. There are certain things Vince McMahon just won't give up on once he's made his mind up. This is one of them.

Billy Gunn's sudden ass-fixation was never adequately explained, but as part of an ongoing feud with The Rock after 'The Great One' (rightly) belittled his King of the Ring victory, Billy, once of the Smoking Gunns, now of the Smoking Buns, made it his life mission to turn his adversary's nose sideways and stick it straight up his own candy-ass.

After Gunn succeeded in his strange fetish, The Rock didn't do the usual thing and contact the constabulary, but instead vowed revenge in kind. It wasn't clear whether it was a threat or a proposition, but Dwayne insisted Gunn would be forced to kiss The Rock's Bottom come SummerSlam.

Because this was '99, even that f(arse)ical stipulation couldn't pass off without some additional nonsense. Mr. Ass introduced a heavy-set lady into the contest, with one obvious and unfortunate ambition, only to have the tables turned, resulting in Jim Ross' immortal line: "The Rock just put Billy Gunn's face in that large woman's ass!"

I don't think it needs to be emphasised any further why all of this was a mistake.
