It's difficult to argue with WWE's decision to stick non-wrestler Tiny 'Zeus' Lister in the main event of their second biggest show of the year, given it ended up drawing almost as many buys as WrestleMania V. And hey, Brutus Beefcake was in it too, so he wasn't even the least competent worker in the ring.

Still, for fans of wrestling, it was a bit of a kick in the c*ck to transform the main event of a wrestling show into a glorified film trailer. It's not worth dwelling on the storyline here - apparently Hulk Hogan thought his appearance in No Holds Barred was happening for real. Needless to say, it was groinal - but not enough to dissuade WCW from tempting Zeus out of retirement for their finest hour at Uncensored '96, the incomparable Doomsday Cage.
