Wrestlers being marks for other wrestlers is frowned upon in the industry. Just look at how AJ Lee was ostracised for being a fan in her WWE run. Which is ironic, considering Triple H has been one of the biggest marks of all time when it comes to his fandom of old school wrestlers. His obsession with Ric Flair is particularly mark-like. In the early 90's, Hunter wore his hair exactly like his idol, in addition to wearing the same kind of suits. He writes in his book about being a stunned fan when he first saw the Naitch. Given that fandom, Flair has been treated like royalty (and got away with a ton) in Hunter's ruling of WWE.
