33 Forgotten Moments In The Undertaker's WWE Career

22. Manager In A Cage Match

You've heard of Vince Russo putting just about everything on a pole, but at Survivor Series 1996, it was a manager in a cage match! Hanging 20 feet above the ring was Paul Bearer, who had previously turned on Taker and sided with Mankind. The stipulation for The Undertaker Vs Mankind at Survivor Series, was Bearer in a cage above the ring, and if Taker won, then Bearer would be lowered and the Deadman could administer revenge. Taker defeated Mankind with a Tombstone, leading the cage to be lowered. A camera inside the cage showed Bearer physically quaking at the prospect of the beating that was to come. But in a disappointing twist, The Executioner ran in for the save. That dud ending made it fairly forgettable, but the gimmick itself may well be the zaniest match Taker was ever booked in.
