As a result of his rare losses, most fans are under the impression that he's never submitted. The thought of him tapping out is unimaginable. But he did in fact tap to Kurt Angle on Smackdown in 2002. The reason fans forget it is because Angle's shoulders were pinned at the same time. On a technicality, Taker's submission ended up being void. Angle was the loser.
