1. Triple H Vs. Daniel Bryan - WrestleMania XXX

There's an admitted bias at play here, since your writer attended 'Mania XXX in person, but, had it began with a not-so-Magnificent Muraco match, there'd be no such goodwill.

In a massively heated 25:57 triumph, Triple H and Daniel Bryan smashed the dual remit of wrestling psychology by wrestling a logical character-based match that also doubled as an exciting tour de force. Deftly wrestling a stupendous Daniel Bryan-style submission-heavy match under the pretence of his better-than-you hubris, Trips ramped up the pace in a much-belated display of selflessness.

Daniel Bryan, meanwhile, entered the emotive main event-level performance we'd waited two years to see.
