If there's one major issue that even the better MITB matches suffer from, it's lazy booking: after an initial brawl, the action will doubtless spill outside the ring, where most of the wrestlers spend the remainder of the match napping on the floor while two or three guys fight in the middle of the ring. It's common enough to be a huge cliche now, and this year's match was sadly no different. It took barely a minute for this match to follow the well-trod formula, with Randy Orton in particular having an easy pay-day as he spent roughly two-thirds of the match rolling around on the outside of the ring. Most of the other wrestlers didn't fare much better either. Would it kill the WWE to put a little more thought into booking these matches, given their perceived importance?
