26. The Money In The Bank Match Goes First For Some Reason
While it's easy to understand the WWE wanting to break up the Money in the Bank and Ladder matches so they don't appear in too close a proximity to one another, did the show really need to blow its wad so early by crossing off the most promising match first, as well as the bout around which the entire show is themed? Indeed, the show opened with its most interesting fight, and though hardly a classic MITB battle, left a feeling of deflation for the following 45 minutes or so until the John Cena/Kevin Owens match kicked off. There's nothing wrong with opening strong, but you need a solid undercard to follow it, which this show categorically didn't.
