Sami Callihan has busted his behind across the globe, gathering a cult following thanks to his innovative moveset and his effortless charisma. He now resides in NXT and goes by the name of Solomon Crowe.

Back in 1999, Chris Jericho made his WWF debut, having years of experience from competing around the world and with the charismatic Lionheart having amassed quite the fanbase.

Their backgrounds are not the only things that Crowe and Jericho have in common, though. When Jericho debuted, he was the almost-rock star-like performer who capitalised on the Y2K fear to bring audiences Y2J. Crowe has a similar vibe to his hacker-lite persona, and the edgy way he dresses, carries himself and styles his hair give off a rock star, punk-like vibe.

When it comes to in-ring action, Crowe uses a technically-sound, all-action moveset which incorporates certain high flying moves. Back in ’99, Jericho was doing something very similar. And then Crowe’s slightly over-the-top facials also bring back memories of early-WWF Jericho too.

It’s doubtful that Crowe’s star will ever shine as bright as Chris Jericho’s did, but here’s hoping that the NXT star makes an impact on the main WWE roster at some point in the future.
