When the diminutive Trish Stratus debuted as the manager of T&A (granted, this was early 2000), she was seen by many as just a pretty, athletic blonde fitness model. Fast forward to the current NXT product and Alexa Bliss evokes those exact same feelings.

Bliss has an athletic and modelling background, is a pocket-sized blonde stunner, and has recently turned heel to manage NXT Tag Team Champions Blake and Murphy.

Again, when Trish first appeared she was lacklustre at best when it came to in-ring performance. Bliss isn’t awful, but she’s still not at the level of the top females in NXT, such as Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch and even Bayley.

What Stratus did, though, was bust her ass in order to become one of the greatest female wrestlers that the WWF/E has even known. Whether Bliss makes it that far is up for debate, but for now she shares some startling similarities with Canadian Stratus.
