35 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SummerSlam 2021

14. Drew McIntyre Making Sure To Miss

Keep a close eye on Drew McIntyre's own eyes in that .GIF.

The towering Scotsman made sure to pull his sword up the way so he wouldn't accidentally hit either Veer or Shanky as they escaped from the ring. Obviously, Drew had to rely on both guys powdering properly - he couldn't exactly whack them with a bloody sword, so. he went over their heads.

13. “12-Time Champ”

Charlotte Flair

Urgh.

No, not the fact that Charlotte Flair is a champ again. This fan doesn't mind that, because he happens to think Flair is one of the best workers in the biz. However, he does have a problem with WWE's pretence that this latest reign is Charlotte's 12th.

It's baffling that WWE miss out her two reigns as NXT Women's Champion like they never happened or don't count towards her tally. Why wouldn't they? That belt exists in the same company as the Raw and SmackDown belts. If anything, it's the ancient Divas Title stint they could delete without much protest.

12. Charlotte’s Lucky Escape

Flair came eerily close to smashing her legs on top of that security barrier when she performed a twisting moonsault press onto Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H at ringside. It's padded, sure, but that would've hurt and potentially injured the Raw Women's Champ to be.

Rhea must've known how close they were. She looked over at the barrier to make sure that Charlotte hadn't kneecapped herself.
