35 WTF Moments From SummerSlam 2015

30. Mick Foley Co-Hosts The Show's (Surprisingly Boring) Opening Segment

The proper SummerSlam show kicked off with Jon Stewart warming up the crowd before bringing out a pal to give him a hand: Mick Foley. This naturally made fans expect an opening segment full of funny quips, but instead it fell mostly flat and pretty much felt like the opening to a regular episode of Raw. Sure, seeing Foley was fun and his cheap pop got the crowd going, but the whole exchange barely lasted three minutes, most of the jokes flopped (Foley talking about being scared of Brock Lesnar) and overall it really only padded the show out without actually contributing to the entertainment value. As soon as Foley said he wasn't going to help interview Brock, Stewart insisted they just start the show instead, rendering the whole thing pretty pointless. This one could be cut out of the Blu-ray and nobody would even remember it ever happened.
