4 Times A Gun Was Pulled On A Wrestler (For Real)

Admittedly there is no mention made during Jim Cornette's telling of this anecdote that the former TNA commissioner actually pulled out a gun during his exchange with Brock Lesnar. But the threat was there, and that's enough.

The story here is that Cornette got angry at Lesnar while the pair were working together as lead booker and young rookie respectively down in OVW, WWE's former developmental territory. The former had essentially taken exception to his student being rude to his then-girlfriend (now wife).

Since Cornette obviously - obviously - wouldn't have been able to intimidate the Next Big Thing with the threat of a fist fight, he apparently told him: " ‘Look, motherfucker, you need to know this now. Don’t say f**k you to her in front of me cause I won’t fight you, I will shoot you."

Needless to say, he didn't actually follow through on this promise, although - according to his own version of events - Lesnar's feelings were hurt sufficiently for him to tell OVW's other booker that Jim had been mean to him.
