4 Ups & 1 Down From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Dec 13th)

3. Nothing But Respect

The Lucha Brothers and The LAX have been part of quite a respectful rivalry over the last few weeks and this week, Santana was unsuccessful in singles action against Fenix. Konnan wasn't at ringside for the contest, something which was the case earlier on in the year. That resulted in a bad losing streak for Santana and Ortiz and with no Konnan in sight once again, it appears to have caused the same issue for LAX.

Konnan's reasoning for not being out there with Santana was simple - he didn't want to see two teams he classes as proteges turn on each other. That's a fair point, seeing as most respectful rivalries in wrestling eventually end with one of the sides turning on the other. Seeing as this rivalry has both teams trying to one-up the other, it's a question of when and not if one of the teams turn on the other.

It's one of the most anticipated matches on the Homecoming card and with four of the hottest names in Impact just now coming to blows, it only spells for a great match!
