1. The Final Scene

One of last season’s best moment was the final vignette, showing the star competitors leaving the temple, unaware of what their futures held. In that video, there was a beautiful shot with dark, moody lighting of Dario Cueto seeming to float towards the camera, making him look like all kinds of evil.

The final scene of this season was also fantastic. In a shocking move, we saw Cueto being lead by police in handcuffs into a van, likely due to him murdering Mr. Cisco the prior week. He probably shouldn't have done that while he knew the cops were listening, come to think of it.

The camera remained on Cueto as the van slowly started to pull away. Bright flashing red and blue police siren lights covered his face, but he soon revealed he was smiling as he looked into the camera. Brilliant lighting, wonderfully shot and it left a great cliffhanger headed into season three. What is Dario up to? I need to know right now!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
