4 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec. 13)

7. Promo Train Sets Up Half the Card

Good thing we spent 15 minutes listening to four wrestlers, two authority figures and one manager prattle on about what we had just watched in an introductory video recap, because otherwise, we wouldn’t have set up three matches for later in the night!

Yes, that was sarcasm.

WWE loves its promo trains to open Raw, and Monday was no exception, with Bobby Lashley and MVP coming out and declaring that everyone fears the All Mighty, only for Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins to come out and prove that by heelishly whining (which Lashley said they would). Then Big E said he would be fine with Bobby being added to the title match, setting up Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce to make an “impossible” challenge for Lashley to get added: defeat all three men in singles action in one night!

Promo trains like this usually set up one match for the night, but three? What else was taking place on Raw Monday night? A 60-minute Iron Man Match between Apollo Crews and R-Truth?
