What in the blue hell is WWE doing with Nikki ASH and Rhea Ripley?

Nikki’s entire character – her entire transformation just this summer – is based on having the confidence in yourself to do great things and become “almost a superhero.” So now suddenly, her character arc has turned to her doubting herself. So she’s a phoney.

Putting that aside, you’ve now got Ripley playing camp counsellor to Nikki. And the writers have to beat the point into the ground that Nikki is an anchor on their team, so they sent Rhea out there against Queen Zelina… and had her lose.

But oh, they didn’t do it smartly. The smart way would have seen Nikki attacked outside the ring, Ripley checks on her and is knocked into the barricade and counted out. But instead, the attack happened inside the ring, Ripley stupidly turned her back on Zelina, checked on Nikki and ate a shot into the turnbuckle, then was rolled up for the pin.

Yes, diminutive Vega rolled up Rhea after one shot into the turnbuckle pad.
