Comedy heels are a staple on a wrestling program. When done right, these villains can be both goofy and dangerous.

But in the land of WWE, those two qualities are mutually exclusive. So when they started making Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins sillier and sillier in recent weeks, it should have set off alarm bells. Monday, we got to see it all come to fruition.

KO and Rollins were incapable of toppling Bobby Lashley in separate matches and engaged in silly banter backstage. Then the two jumped Lashley during his match with Big E, brawled with the champ as well, and got put through tables for their troubles.

By the end of the show, Rollins and Owens went from world championship contenders and threats to geeks who were bystanders in a reignited feud between E and Lashley.
