4 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 4)

5. Hurt Business Hurting Already

Last week, we were willing to give the reuniting of the Hurt Business passing marks because at least it meant Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander weren’t sitting in catering each week doing nothing. And it brought back a group that shouldn’t have been dissolved in the first place.

Fast-forward one week, and we saw that catering might have been a better option. Alexander and Benjamin jumped Goldberg during his confrontation with Bobby Lashley, but they were immediately put down. When we came back from commercial, they were run over in a nothing match by the New Day.

So from obscurity to backing a top guy, and Shelton and Cedric are still being treated like pure jobbers. Maybe it’s better than nothing, but this was not a good week for the duo.
