4 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 5)

1. A Colossal Collision

Braun Strowman Keith Lee

Let’s set aside the whole "Braun Strowman showing up on Raw, looking for a fight" nonsense.

Braun versus Keith Lee is a matchup that could really be fun if done right. We’ve seen in the past that Strowman with an athletic big man can make for an entertaining feud, and Lee certainly fits the bill.

Their showdown Monday night was little more than an appetizer, with their exhibition ending in a count-out just moments after beginning. The brawl outside was a pretext to Lee tackling Strowman off the stage and through a few tables, an effective spot that concluded the melee but didn’t give anything away.

Now, we have to assume that either Braun is coming to Raw in the draft, or Lee is headed to SmackDown so this feud can continue. If that’s the case, then why didn’t they just wait until next week and have the new guy come out to the ring looking for a fight? That’s the only real knock here.
