Hey, guess what PPV is coming up later this month? If you’re paying attention to the dialogue so lovingly scripted by the WWE writers, you’d know, it’s Hell in a Cell.

You see, the writers take great pains to make sure at least three different superstars talk about “hell” in their promos, just to remind everyone there’s a PPV with a similar-sounding name. GENIUS. Throw in Drew McIntyre’s awful, cliché-ridden promo where he accepted Randy Orton’s cell challenge. Did you know that Drew wasn’t going to be locked in the cell with Randy, but Orton was going to be locked in with McIntyre?

Because we’ve never heard that line before. Or the one referencing purgatory and hell. Totally original.

Can we at least pass the seven-year statute of limitations?
