4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Dec 17)

Downs...

2. Skewed Logic

Sammy Guevara Cody Dustin Rhodes
AEW

Right, this made no sense.

Cody Rhodes rocked out to shut Dam Lambert up and brawl with Men Of The Year, but then needed Dustin to save him from an ass-kicking. That didn't work, so Sammy Guevara rushed out to stop Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky from having their wicked way. Huh?

Guevara is wrestling Cody for his TNT Title soon, so why would he bother running out to stop anyone from kicking seven shades out of Rhodes? Also, the babyfaces needed a numbers advantage over the villains. Psychologically, that's all over the f*cking place, man.

The segment ended with the clear insinuation that Sammy had saved Cody from missing his TNT Title shot. Sure, but...why? Is he a fighting champion? If so, the announcers need to make that clear. Finally, this odd booing of Rhodes continues, and AEW don't seem interested in confronting it.
