4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Feb 9 - Results & Review)

3. A Main Event With Purpose

Saraya Willow Nightingale

There's something altogether charming about Stokely Hathaway's alliance with Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale. It's a story that blossomed from pretty much nothing, and AEW crowds on Rampage are into the thought of seeing more from the trio. Stokely is blatantly having the time of his life getting whirly-hugged by Willow.

Yes, yes that's a real sentence that made it into this piece. Sorry.

Seriously though, Stat and Willow make quite the team. No, they've nothing to fight for right now as a duo, but they can still put on fun matches aplenty. The pair's main event scrap vs. Saraya and Ruby Soho certainly was one of those, and it even had some story impact (more on that to come) as well.

Seeing Saraya going nose-to-nose with Nightingale was a good time, and Ruby entered a workmanlike performance to willingly take most of the abuse as her so-called friend screamed some verbals from the apron. All in all, this was well-worked.
