4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 29)

Ups...

4. Dante Martin Shines Yet Again

Dante Martin Lio Rush
AEW

Take a bow, Dante Martin.

Lio Rush's new project looked like a million bucks against Malakai Black on the 16 October edition of Dynamite. That would've meant nothing had AEW not followed it up with some more corkers. Alas, they did - Dante vs. Matt Sydal was perfectly placed as the second match on Rampage, and it didn't disappoint.

Martin's flying style is so fluid. He makes everything seem so effortless, and he might even be the most agile flyer in All Elite. That's saying something when Rey Fenix is also on the books. Honestly though, this was a tasty little match with Sydal, and that double springboard moonsault finish from Dante was out of this world.

He has a genuine chance to become this company's next breakout star. The dude is 20 years old, already understands his role (to look unsure of Lio's direction but shine in-ring) and could become the next MJF or Darby Allin success story for Khan and team.
