4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 29)

3. Physicality!

Bryan Danielson Eddie Kingston
AEW

Bryan Danielson and Eddie Kingston were seemingly on a mission to hit each other harder with each passing strike during their pain-filled opener. This was painful to watch, but not in a Great Khali vs. Big Show way. Nah, more in a 'oh Christ, something has to give because they're walloping each other' kinda way.

This fan has no clue how Danielson can tolerate having a chest made out of mincemeat so often. The guy seems to revel in such violence, and Kingston was never going to be the type to shy away from a right good chop fest. Something really interesting did happen in amongst all the physicality though.

Fans briefly booed Bryan.

Eddie folded before a Danielson knee, so the 'American Dragon' rained down some elbows. Boston jeered, and understandably rallied behind the clear underdog Kingston. That's a unique role for someone like Danielson to be in, and it stood out.
