4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Sept 29 - Results & Review)

Downs...

2. What's With These Pointless Squashes?

The Righteous AEW
AEW

This did not need to happen.

The Righteous squashing Caleb Crush (ha) and Gunnar was a waste of everybody's time. Vincent and Dutch don't come across as top challengers for the ROH Tag Titles, and that's true even with Adam Cole injured on the sidelines. Let's just say MJF has a job on his hands this weekend.

Dude's the AEW World Champ and this is what Tony Khan has for him on pay-per-view? Seriously?! The Righteous popped back up on All Elite programming a few weeks back and stared down at a fallen Matt and Jeff Hardy. Since then, commentators have pretended they're some credible threat to Cole and Friedman.

Nobody is convinced, and that's why they're in the 'Downs' section again here. Vincent and Dutch will vanish back out of view following WrestleDream anyway, and that makes it impossible to give a hoot about what they got up to on Rampage.
