2. Kenny Omega’s Plan Backfires

Don't you love it when a plan doesn't come together?

That should happen to every great heel occasionally. The proverbial banana skin is there to be slipped on, after all, and it's even better when the baddies placed it there in the first place. Rampage was Omega's Dick Dastardly moment. He had Don Callis distract the ref, The Young Bucks slid in a chair and then...

...BOOM! Christian reversed Kenny's One-Winged Angel into a Killswitch onto the chair. Omega sold his arse off for that, and rightly so. Seconds later, Cage covered the multi-belt champ, the official spun around and Christian became the new IMPACT World Champ. Pittsburgh, again, went totally nuts.

The story continues brilliantly heading into All Out. Cage has Omega's number, and not even interference from all the champ's cronies can stop the inevitable from happening. Kudos to Kenny for showing such vulnerability, and to everyone (including the ref) for working this finish so well.
